After much toiling in the 90° heat of spring and the dankness of the garage, I finally got the sashes re-glazed and painted. While scraping the caulking someone had applied, trying to “fix” the window, I broke the glass. Luckily, I know a guy.
What a pane! 25 bucks a crack! Money out the window! If I keep this up, I’ll be broke too!
I had to remove the sash cord guards to eliminate the ear-bleeding shrieking noise from the pulleys using WD-40 and now the window is in place and it’s time to move on to the worst one — The living room (AKA the smoking parlour.)
